Donate to Celebrate a Wedding

By making a donation in lieu of wedding favours for your guests you will be recognizing your special day while contributing needed funds to help save the environment, one tree at a time. We will provide you with a message that can be shared with your guests that indicates your gift in honour of them.

If you would like to request that your wedding guests give a donation to Trees Ontario in place of traditional gifts (either the full gift or a percentage of what they intend to give), please copy this link to your own wedding website or include it in an email to tell your guests about the option to donate to Trees Ontario.

In order to recognize your contribution further, we would also be happy to feature the couple on our website, with a short note detailing why they selected Trees Ontario as their charity of choice.  Couples can be featured either for providing a gift to Trees Ontario or purchasing tree seedlings or seed packs as guest favours, (see below).  A minimum donation of $500 is required in order to receive this benefit. 

Tree Seedlings for Events & Weddings 

Recognize your wedding or special event, by giving native tree seedlings to attendees. Seedlings come wrapped in burlap, and include a card with planting instructions.

Tree seedlings are $5 each with a minimum order of 100. Half of your purchase is tax receiptable and these monies support Trees Ontario’s regular planting programs. Click here to download the seedling order form.
