In Memoriam Gifts

Give a gift to Trees Ontario in memoriam of a lost loved one. Planting a tree in memory of someone is an incredibly moving tribute as it is essentially a way to recognize someone in perpetuity, while having a positive impact on the environment for future generations. All gifts made in memoriam will go towards protecting those areas where Trees Ontario sees the need as being the greatest.

All In Memoriam donors will receive a beautiful Trees Ontario card, with your message inscribed in it, which will be sent on your behalf to the chosen recipient(s).

We also offer additional benefits per donation amount. These examples include:

 

• A $100 donation will ensure that a seedling tree is planted in memory of an individual and an electronic certificate will be provided

   

• A $300 donation will plant a seeding in a regional memorial forest site and you will be able view the tree’s location on a site map with a balloon description

   

• A $500 donation will allow for a grove of ten seedling trees to be planted in a specific site and marked on a site map with a description. Additionally, the honouree will be featured on the Trees Ontario web page, with a photo, dedication verses and opportunity for others to donate.
