Minister Cansfield Joins Trees Ontario at Annual
Tree Program Planning Workshop

June 17, 2008 – Toronto - On June 17, 2008 the Honourable Donna Cansfield, Minister of Natural Resources, joined Trees Ontario and over 60 planting agency partners at Black Creek for TO’s annual tree program planning workshop.

Minister Cansfield had the opportunity to address the packed room and then join in on partner discussions around the 50 Million Tree Program, capacity building, tree planting forecasts and tree planting infrastructure.

The Hon. Donna Cansfield, Minister of Natural Resources opened the afternoon session and addressed planting agency partners about the importance of tree planting.

Trees Ontario Program Manager Rob Keen facilitated a group discussion on the 50 Million Tree Program.

Trees Ontario planting agency partners took part in group discussions around suggestions for improvement around the 50 Million Tree Program.
