OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - June 30, 2009) - On Friday, June 26, BergHOFF International and Tree Canada celebrated their successful partnership with a ceremonial tree planting at Luther Marsh Wildlife Management Area, near Orangeville, Ont. - the home of BergHOFF's new forest.

BergHOFF International sponsored the planting of 30,000 trees across southern Ontario. This initiative was made possible through the launch of the Earthchef brand at the Hudson Bay Company. For each 11" Earthchef skillet sold BergHOFF sponsors Tree Canada to plant a tree.

There are 5,000 trees planted at the Luther Marsh site, including sugar maple, white pine and white spruce. The planting was organized through Tree Canada's planting partners, Trees Ontario and the Grand River Conservation Authority (GRCA).
