Trees Ontario Grows it Partnerships with OPG and LEAF
at 2010 Green Living Show

April 23, 2010 - Trees Ontario is not only growing its provincial tree planting programs, but it’s also budding into the spring 2010 planting season with some new partners.

This year at the Green Living Show, Trees Ontario will be joining forces with Ontario Power Generation and LEAF (Local Enhancement and Appreciation of Forests) in a joint space, to recognize the importance of biodiversity, and urban & rural tree planting programs. The booth will be located across from the show’s urban forest (#909).

Show attendees will have the opportunity to tell their tree story in our video booth, learn about the organizations, discuss backyard tree planting tips and techniques, assess eligibility for tree planting subsidy programs, and hear about OPG’s Biodiversity Program.

Learn more about Ontario Power Generation’s Biodiversity Program.

Read more about LEAF’s Backyard Tree Planting Program and upcoming educational events.

Win a trip for two to the Andes & Amazon at this year's Green Living Show!
