Trees Ontario Foundation helps rebuild tornado-damaged forests
The Grand River Conservation Authority and a Salem-area school are getting some help to plant new trees to replace those lost when a tornado struck the Fergus area on August 19, 2005.
The Trees Ontario Foundation has provided money to purchase tree seedlings and assist with planting costs at the Belwood Lake Conservation Area near Fergus and the Portage Program school near Salem. (more information)
