Say Tree! Enter Trees Ontario's Treerific Greeting Card Contest

October 4, 2011 - Calling all nature and photography enthusiasts! Trees Ontario is excited to announce the launch of the Treerific Greeting Card contest.

This year, the United Nations has declared 2011 as the International Year of Forests and has chosen Forests for People as the theme. To celebrate this theme, we want you to share your photographs of Ontario’s beautiful trees and forests for a chance to have your submission featured as the cover of Trees Ontario's Treerific Greeting Card.

The Treerific Greeting Card will form part our annual holiday drive with proceeds going towards our tree planting efforts.

How it works

1.  Submit a photo of a tree (parts of a tree or the whole tree) or forested landscape in Ontario, along with your contact information and a Photographer's Statement of Release by email to info@treesontario.ca.

2.  Required pixel size and details can be found in our Contest Rules and Regulations

3.  A panel of tree-loving TO staff will select the top photo on October 28, 2011. Please see Contest Rules and Regulations for judging criteria.

Prizes

The winning photo will be used as the cover of Trees Ontario’s holiday greeting card. The lucky winner will also win an amazing Trees Ontario prize package which includes:

  • One Panasonic Lumix DMC-TS3 camera
  • One set of 10 greeting cards
  • One Trees Ontario branded cap
  • One Trees Ontario branded travel mug

All other entrants will be entered into a random draw for a chance to win a fabulous prize pack which includes: a set of 10 greeting cards, a Trees Ontario branded cap and a Trees Ontario branded travel mug.
